cvsservice software package provides D-Bus service for accessing CVS repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cvsservice
cvsservice is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cvsservice package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cvsservice *
You will get with cvsservice package name, version, architecture and description in a table
